How it works?

We want our liveness detection service to generate the same trust as a face-to-face interaction. We have developed a mechanism that ensures that the recordings sent are taken by a real person in front of the camera. It is based on the analysis of optical flow and detects movement between two or more images. Our system can distinguish between a 3D face and a 2D photo that move differently.
Texture detection:
The image processing algorithms analyze the texture to differentiate the skin and the printing paper. Neocheck® has modified this approach to detect the texture of a captured image or video for reliable protection. Even remote-controlled 3D avatars can not gain access.
To avoid a video attack, Neocheck® also offers a challenge-response technique. The system challenges the user with some random instructions and then the response is verified to validate if the instructions were followed. Some of these challenges may be turning the head, covering the eye, sticking out the tongue, etc. This way, it is possible to verify if the user turned his head according to the direction of the random challenge. These challenges can be repeated as many times as your security level requires.
Finally, the use of Neocheck ® multimodal biometrics generates even higher levels of security and combats repetition attacks. More than one biometric feature is captured simultaneously. It offers face, eyes and voice recognition that can be combined, depending on the situation and the desired level of security. Making it more difficult for an attacker to successfully fake multiple biometrics, especially when they must be presented at the same time. In addition, it is more convenient for the user to choose between different biometric features when they make the verification.

This can detect fakes successfully.
