Alastria is a non-profit association that fosters the Digital Economy by developing decentralized / Blockchain technologies. It was born in Spain as Red Lyra in May 2017 and was formalized as a non-profit organization, with its current name, in October of that same year.
It is a multisectoral consortium promoted by companies and institutions for the establishment of a Blockchain semi-public infrastructure, which supports services with legal effectiveness in the Spanish sphere and in accordance with European regulation.
Alastria has the clear vocation of being a pioneering, benchmark project in the generation of new models of Digital Economy. It promotes an innovation methodology that anticipates the needs of our Society in relation to the use of products and services based on decentralized technologies.
It works on three fundamental pillars:
- The Association: With the aim of identifying talent, generating and sharing knowledge among its more than 500 partners, among which is NeoCheck.
- Alastria Network: Network of nodes for the technological development of blockchain technology, such as NeoBlock.
- ID Alastria: Theoretical model to give shape to the project and proposed rule to be able to raise it to the European level.
